Interior & Exterior Painting in Tampa Bay

Interior and exterior painting — stucco, trim and full repaints with clean lines — in Tampa and all around it.

Paint is the finish everybody notices and the step most likely to get rushed, and Florida humidity does not forgive that. A coat put over dirt, chalk or a hairline stucco crack looks fine for a few months and then bubbles, peels or lets the crack right back through — usually right about the time the first real summer storm season hits.

Tampa Bay's block-and-stucco exteriors take a beating from sun and rain that a lot of the country doesn't deal with, and the interior side of a house dealing with that much humidity outside needs paint that's actually adhering, not just sitting on top. We do interior and exterior work, full houses and single rooms, prepped the way this climate actually requires.

What's included

Exterior prep starts with pressure washing to get the surface clean, then stucco cracks get filled and any loose or chalky areas get scraped and primed before the finish coat goes anywhere near them. Skipping straight to color is the single most common reason a paint job looks tired again within a year or two instead of holding up.

Inside, edges get cut in by hand at the ceiling and trim, floors and furniture get covered before a can is opened, and we prime any bare or patched drywall so it takes the finish coat evenly instead of showing as a dull patch the first time light crosses it. Two coats, applied properly, hold their color and their line a lot longer than one thick one rushed to cover.

How we work

Walk & scope

We look at the surfaces, note any cracks or damage, and talk through colors and finish before scheduling.

Prep the surface

Washing, scraping, patching and caulking happen before any color goes on — this step is most of what makes paint last.

Prime bare areas

Patched stucco or drywall gets primed so it takes the finish coat the same way as the surface around it.

Finish & clean up

Finish coats go on, edges are cut by hand, and everything is cleaned up before we walk the job with you.

Painting by city

Tampa Bay is several housing eras at once — a 1950s block ranch in St. Pete, a 90s two-story in Brandon and a brand-new Riverview build each remodel differently, and we work in all of them.

Common questions

How often does a house need repainting in this climate?
Florida sun and humidity wear paint faster than a lot of places. There's no single number that fits every house — sun exposure and how the last paint job was prepped both matter more than the calendar.
Do you fix stucco cracks before painting, or is that separate?
It's part of the same job. Painting over a stucco crack without filling it first just hides the problem for a few months before it shows right back through.
Can you help me pick a color, or do I need to know exactly what I want?
Either way works. If you already have a color, we'll match it. If not, we'll talk through the room, the light it gets, and what you're going for before anything is bought.
